The Nighttime Grasses By Robert Stephen Herrick
Deep blues of twilight's darker hues coat the dome of the sky as nighttime spreads over the dew coating the grasses growing by.
The stars speckle the heavens and the cresent moon beams upon the wet fresh blades of grass firmly rooted into the earthy soils.
It is summertime and the night air is calm and warm with scents drifting in the light breeze and lingering seeming to have the scene for the senses.
A brisk sight is a shooting star at night coarsing upon a wild path and brilliance streaks across the darkered sky speckled with stars and moonlight.
Rich and abundant are these scenes in life; take not the simple things for granted for their value may not be replaced nor is it wise to replace them with strife.
